Process objective
The specification of the outcome a process must produce, not a declarative sentence on a form.
The specification of the outcome a process must produce, not a declarative sentence on a form. It is the criterion for deciding which activities exist, which decisions are automated, which data are mandatory, which exceptions are governed and what gets measured.
That it is a specification rather than a sentence changes who can approve it. Anyone can approve a sentence because nobody can contradict it; a specification with criteria and thresholds can be evaluated, and therefore rejected.
