The principle governing the incorporation of artificial intelligence into a process: every AI intervention must be justified by its contribution to the objective, a constraint or an indicator, under the same criterion applied to any other design element.
It is the criterion that decides where to add AI and where not to. Without it the question becomes where it is technically feasible, which is a different matter: there are points where a model performs well and moves the process no closer to its objective.
