Service catalogue
Also called: service catalog
The register of an organization's services and offerings with owner, value proposition, criticality, cost or price, implementing capabilities and supporting CIs.
The register of an organization's services and offerings with owner, value proposition, criticality, cost or price, implementing capabilities and supporting CIs. It is an operational view of the business model, not an inventory of request types.
A catalogue grows by accumulation when there is no portfolio behind it: every department adds its own entries and nobody can say what is redundant. The difference between them is one of level, not size — the portfolio declares what value is delivered, the catalogue how it is requested.
