Role-based training

An approach organizing training around each person's operational accountability rather than by generic tool functionality. Process owners, case handlers, catalog administrators and analysts each need to understand different things.

Organising it by feature produces sessions where each person waits for their part to come up. By role, each learns their whole responsibility in the process, including whom they hand off to and what they should expect to receive.
