Indicator families

Classifying by link reveals the gaps at a glance. It is common to find portfolios dense in process indicators and empty of capability or service indicators, which are the ones that explain why the process performs or not.

A measure that quantifies a declared attribute of something in the architecture, and therefore verifies whether an objective was met.

Measurement object

Any metamodel object on which an indicator rests: capability, service, offering, process, activity, entity or CI.

Traceability chain

The ordered relationship from strategy through capabilities, services, offerings, processes and data to the indicators that verify results.
