DMN
Also called: Decision Model and Notation
The standard for specifying business decisions and rules, designed to work alongside BPMN.
The standard for specifying business decisions and rules, designed to work alongside BPMN. The methodology does not require adopting it, but it does adopt its principle: decisions must be explicit, readable and governable separately from the flow.
Separating the decision from the flow has a concrete benefit: the process diagram stops filling with nested gateways nobody can read, and the logic ends up in a table the business side can actually review.
