An approach requiring vision, strategy, roles, accountabilities, objectives and indicators to be connected within a single execution logic, so that each person can see how their work contributes to the organization's results.

The test of whether it exists is to ask someone in operations which strategic objective their work serves. When the chain is declared, the answer is looked up; when it is not, it is improvised or never arrives.
